Job description


Role Overview:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the office manager will support the EFSK management team, comprising the Executive Director, Program Manager, and Finance Manager. Responsibilities include overseeing office operations, onboard staff and students, and aiding in project coordination and document preparation.

Responsibilities:
Administrative Tasks:
-Manage office operations, supplies, and facilities.
-Coordinate meetings, conferences, and appointments.
-Handle correspondence and inquiries.
HR Onboarding:
-Facilitate seamless onboarding for new employees.
-Conduct orientation sessions and maintain employee records.
Assisting Management Team:
-Provide administrative support.
-Assist in project coordination and document preparation.
-Act as a liaison between departments.
Client Interaction:
-Handle client inquiries professionally.
-Collaborate with the team to address concerns.

Skills and Abilities:
Organizational Skills:
-Manage tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
-Attention to detail and efficient time management.
HR Knowledge:
-Understanding of HR processes and compliance.
Communication Skills:
-Excellent verbal and written communication.
-Strong interpersonal skills.
Cultural Competency:
-Commitment to learning Indigenous cultures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience in office management and HR coordination.
Knowledge of HR practices and compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Customer service experience is a plus.
