Job description
S.T ALI INVESTMENTS LTD. is looking for 3 Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our team immediately.
Job Duties:
- Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection of brakes, tires, lights and turning signals.
- Drive tractor-trailor, long-combination vehicle and trucks weighing 4500 kgs to transport goods.
- Perform roadside repairs in case of emergency.
- Transport hazardous products or dangerous goods.
- Communicate with dispatcher and other drivers.
- Keep record of hours of operation, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
- Obtain permits needed to transport cargo on international routes.
Job Requirement:
- Completion of Secondary School.
- Class 1 or A license is required.
- Some experience as a truck driver is an asset
- On the job training is provided
Salary:
- $28.50/hour for 40 hours per week, overtime wage will be given after 60 hours per week.
