- Physical verification and receipt of incoming goods as per packing slips and purchase orders
- Notification to the end user of verified and received goods
- Marking and logging of received orders for easy identification
- Entering receipts, returns and Quality Notifications (QN’s) for Vendor Issues
- Helping Plant Associates to locate received items
- Assembly and packaging of goods for outgoing shipments, including shipping documents
- Weekly stock inventory counts along with ordering of materials such as oil and janitorial supplies as needed
- Preparation of all shipping documents, such as bills of lading, customs forms and shipping orders to route materials
- Transferring of parts from one area to another, along with logging of updated locations
- Record shipment data for reporting, accounting, and record keeping purposes
- Engages with vendors and drivers in a positive fashion
- Maintains a clean and organized shipping and receiving area Deliver materials to other departments and the appropriate personnel
- Provides additional backup support for co-workers as required
- Assist other areas of department with duties or task as assigned and seen necessary by manager or supervisor
- Exceptional attention to detail required

Training
- Understanding of the job responsibilities, knowledge requirements and departmental procedures
Requirements:
- Highschool diploma
- Minimum 10 years of relevant plant experience
- Forklift Certification and Experience
- Exceptional computer skills, Experience with SAP is an asset
