Job Summary:

Ledcor Highway Maintenance has year-round seasonal career opportunities with the highway pavement marking team. With contracts at least seven years in length, Ledcor offers you the chance to make long-term plans while being part of a great team dedicated to safe operations

We are looking for enthusiastic and team-oriented people to join our team that helps maintain our Alberta Provincial and Municipal highways. You have previous experience, a valid license, and a desire to work for an industry leading employer and a community-minded organization. You will be responsible for winter and seasonal maintenance of Alberta highways, using various heavy equipment

Essential Responsibilities

• Operating long line white painting systems, mobile impact attenuator and back filling positions as required
• Conducting and documenting quality control inspections during painting operation
• Ensure work is performed to specifications and standards
• Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways for seasonal or year-round operations

Qualifications

• Knowledge of paint truck operations, loading procedures and maintenance is considered an asset
• Successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Possess a valid Class 5 License
• Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement considered an asset
• Must have a clear 3-year driver's abstract
• Knowledge of provincial and/or municipal highway maintenance specifications considered an asset

Work Conditions

• Travel, Shift work, on-call, and night shift required throughout operating months
• Role specific training available
• RSP and Benefits provided
• Work will be across Alberta on Provincial and Municipal highways
• Seasonal positions available year-round
