Facility: CYPRESS REGIONAL HOSPITAL
Job Description: Reporting to the Program Manager, the Unit Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day operations and patient flow of the Unit. He/She will facilitate the use of critical thinking skills by the RN and LPN staff as they are fostered to work to their full scope of practice.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Experience
Minimum 3 years relevant Acute Care Nursing experience

Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position

Comprehensive knowledge/understanding for managing change An equivalent combinaton of education, training and experience may be considered The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A vulnerable sector check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient/resident/client care to vulnerable persons.
