Hey! I'm Josh and I'm looking for a Studio Manager who's led a team and loves working in a studio and office environment
You're incredibly empathetic and tech-savvy (you've used software like Logic Pro before)
As the Studio Manager, you will manage the studio team, studio facilities, production methods and workflows. This is an important role because the studio team serves the company’s various production requirements from various teams including content, product and marketing.

- Oversees all studio operations onsite and remote locations
- Design, implement and manage new and existing production studios, workflows and training programs.
- Research and Innovate production techniques in audio/lighting/film/broadcast
- Senior-level mixing/mastering for high-profile productions
- Review and QC all content for audio, providing constructive feedback to the team
- Works with local brand ambassadors and internationally renowned guest artists in our studios to capture lesson material and stream live to our audience worldwide.
- Ensures that the following are in good working order and if not, designing and implementing solutions for the following: Studio Equipment, materials, properties, and tools.
- The role is exposed to confidential data including all of Musora’s proprietary audio and video media and procedures, personal information of managed staff members, confidential production documents containing sensitive information and contractual obligations, financial and budgetary projects within the company and more.
- Lead, Coach and Manage Team and Individual Performance on the Studio Team, including contractor. This includes things like assigning work, development, evaluation, people/supervision, managing performance, scheduling work, training, and the well-being of others all concerning the studio team
- Financial Resources: acquisitions of technology, expenditures, financial data, money, records, negative impact to the organization due to an error and its consequences.
- Operational: Ensure compliance with legal obligations and company policies and processes.
- Financial responsibilities include
- Budgeting, documenting and purchasing studio and production assets within the policies set out by Musora.
- Being accountable to the Production/IT Director for purchases
- Being fiscally responsible in expenditure
- Artist Relations: Ensure you speak on behalf of Musora while interacting with artists, and maintaining a positive and professional environment.
Key Qualifications
Knowledge/Education/Experience
- Minimum Diploma or preferred bachelor-level qualification in Production or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum certificate in leadership or management, or demonstrated equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of professional experience working in recording studios, live production and broadcast studios, which includes at least 2+ years of managerial experience
- Knowledge/ experience working with heavy machinery e.g. scissors lifters, and table saws.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of recording techniques, video capture techniques, lighting, audio and video editing and best post-production practices
- Knowledge/ experience working with heavy machinery such as scissors lifters, and table saw.
- Proficiency in English in both written and verbal communication. Other languages are not compulsory but are welcomed.
- Basic knowledge of stage rigging, carpentry and painting skills.
- Valid Driver’s license required
- Valid Passport to travel within Canada and Internationally

- Salary . $65,000-85,000/year, depending on experience.
