Field Service Engineer to repair and troubleshoot
plastic injection moulding and
injection blow moulding machines at their clients’ locations.
Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:
- Adhere to daily schedule provided by Area Service Manager to visit and service customers’ machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems leaving the customer with the assurance that the problem has been or will be resolved.
- For new injection molding machines: start up, provide molding assistance, and give hands on operator and maintenance training.
- Responsible for timely and accurate field service report specific to all services on site, problems incurred, safety violations noted, hours and expenses.
- Responsible for all the proper use and care of all company-issued tooling, property, and proprietary information.
- Provide temporary phone coverage for technical support and/or manager while there is a vacancy due to vacation and/or illness.
Field Service Engineer Qualifications:
- Two-year technical degree in the field of electronics, or equivalent experience in the plastics industry.
- Demonstrated field service experience or equivalent experience in the area of troubleshooting and repair of injection molding machines.
- Must be a Canadian citizen
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, must not have travel restrictions and are free to travel up to 90% of the time.
Employment conditions:
- Direct Hire, Permanent, Full-time
- $85,000 - $90,000 per year
- Motor vehicle allowance
