Overview
As a Project Manager you hold a pivotal role in project leadership, overseeing the end-to-end management of client initiatives in partnership with our client service team. Your responsibilities include managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring the successful execution of complex projects. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you create detailed workback schedules, foster effective communication, and proactively identify and help troubleshoot challenges. This role demands organization, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results in a dynamic and evolving agency landscape. This role will focus on utilizing the talents of our multi-disciplinary team across digital marketing, data and analytics, brand, design, social media, UX and technology to solve our client’s business challenges by delivering market-leading work that is on time and on budget.

- Understanding of various elements in digital marketing such as websites, branding, SEO, video, advertising and social media - enough to plug into subject matter experts when the time is right

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Ability to motivate junior and intermediate team members
- Strong organization, detail orientation and prioritization skills

The Experience You Have
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar position leading client experience and quality project delivery
- 3-5 years of client-facing agency experience is a must (2+ years of client experience in at least two of the following industries: food & beverage, hospitality & entertainment, finance, CPG, agriculture, or medical aesthetics)
- Degree or Diploma (focus on Business or Marketing an asset)
- Experience forming strong client relationships
- Knowledge of agency requirements and operations
- Demonstrated capability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency with project management tools (eg. Monday, Wrike, Forecast, Asana, etc.)
- Other digital marketing certifications (i.e Meta, Hubspot etc.) is an asset
The Work You'll Do
Communication & Collaboration
- Clearly communicate with cross-functional teams internally and with clients
- Actively participate in the creation of presentation decks
- Actively participate in presentations with support from Sr. team members
- Write professionally (emails, briefs, proposals, etc)
- Support on status calls with the ability to summarize next steps/action items clearly
- Regularly communicate progress on timelines and escalate issues to Sr. team members
- Speak accurately to the current status of your projects and immediate next steps in detail
- Take detailed and accurate notes during all meetings without prompting
- Reliably update accurate and detailed status reports
- Reliably create accurate and detailed contact reports following client calls/meetings
- Resourcefully problem-solve and approach challenges with a positive mindset
- Demonstrate an active interest in refining and growing your cross-functional skillset through self-learning, certifications, courses, and mentorship
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows
- Review deliverables before sending them out to clients to ensure top-quality work; raise questions/concerns to Sr. team members promptly
Project & Client Management
- Maintain a clear understanding of our core capabilities
- Create detailed timelines and work-back schedules for projects
- Set up tasks in our Project Management system for client projects
- Track time for all tasks, and ensure the team is tracking their time on your projects
- Proactively manage production team tasks to ensure completion on time and on budget
- Support in the day-to-day execution of client projects as the internal liaison between the Client and the production team
- Actively participate in the creation of well-informed and strategic project briefs
- Follow project brief process (including Sr. review and client approval)
- Speak accurately to the current status of your projects and immediate next steps in detail
- Take detailed and accurate notes during all meetings without prompting
- Reliably update accurate and detailed status reports
- Reliably create accurate and detailed contact reports following client calls/meetings
- Meticulously maintain and enforce the organization and naming convention of files and folders
Business Development
- Actively participate in the creation of detailed project estimates leveraging subject matter experts
- Actively participate in the creation of SOWs/proposals
- Actively participate in completing financial estimates and timelines on new projects
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow accounts
- Recognize scope changes and elevate to Sr. team members
