Job description

Our client, a mid-size general contractor specializing in commercial projects, is seeking a talented Superintendent to join their team in Calgary. They have a strong and consistent client base, our client completes around $20 million in projects per year and is looking for a Superintendent with experience in commercial tenant improvement or new build projects.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising day to day construction activities on site.
• Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborating with Project Managers, Subcontractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Maintaining a safe and efficient work environment,
• Quality control and assurance.
• Problem-solving and adapting to project challenges.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of tenant improvement and/or new build processes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, if needed.
