Job description
Cosmetics Manufacturing Company is looking for a Receptionist to work from Feb 29 to Mar 15, 2024.
Location: Eglinton & Warden (Scarborough)
Key Accountabilities:
· Provide continuous coverage at the Reception front desk. Greet visitors and notify personnel of visitor arrival
· Monitor employee and visitor access in and out of the workplace
· Maintain security requirements by ensuring that all visitors sign-in to our visitor log and by distributing guest badges as required
· Maintain switchboard operations and direct incoming calls appropriately.
· Answer inquiries and/or direct calls to appropriate employees. (May also) answer or direct calls from employees
· Communicate with employees on site-specific issues (i.e. found keys, building maintenance schedules, etc.).
· Responsible for ensuring all deliveries/couriers and issued and routed (both internally and externally) in a timely fashion
· Preparing customs and shipping documents for outgoing sample packages using the following services – UPS, FedEx, DHL and All Points.
· Interact in a professional, friendly manner with vendors, couriers and delivery personnel. Contact appropriate employees to accept deliveries
· Monitor and ensure the reception area is kept tidy and projects a business-like image.
Skills, Experience and Education Required:
· High School diploma or equivalent work experience
· Experience working in a diverse and progressive environment
· Experience with managing vendor communications and interactions in a timely manner
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications is required
· Customer service focused – pleasant, friendly, cheerful, energetic, calm, courteous and professional
· Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively
