Job description

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will have expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication and possess knowledge of PLC controls and systems.

The position entails leading preventive maintenance, troubleshoot machinery and ensuring optimal performance. Repair equipment, operate fabrication tools and master rigging for installations are an integral aspect of this dynamic role. You should also be able to maintain thermal fluid boilers with precision and adhere to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete PM work orders and provide feedback for constant improvement.
• Put on your detective hat during inspections, detecting irregularities and uncovering the mysteries of manufacturing machinery.
• Repair conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic components, automated systems.
• Break down blueprints, diagrams and mill, lathe, break, saw and drill to operate equipment’s used to fabricate them.
• Operate welding, mig tig, gas as needed.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• 5 years of jamming in a manufacturing/automation environment
• An electrical virtuoso with a certified Millwright badge
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude to make gears turn and electrons dance
• PLC and computerized machinery knowledge (allen Bradley, Siemens)
• Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting/handling procedures
• Knowledge of robot programming and function (Fanuc, abb)
• Forklift/Scissor lift operator license or ability to obtain one
• Position is a  THREE shift rotation

Salary: $37.00-$41.66 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
