JOB SUMMARY:
The staffing clerk is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day staffing activities of the nusing units. In collaboration with the nurse managers, he ensures a sufficient manpower according to the needs of each service.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or general studies (GED) plus an additional administrative support program/course of over six months and up to one year or equivalent;
- Two years of previous experience is required;
- Good ability in the Word, Excel programs and Meditech System;
- Good practical knowledge in the application of collective agreements;
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
- Tact, initiative, independent judgement, and resourcefulness in dealing with administrative details;
- Adapt well to change;
- Ability to work independently and as a team member;
- Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
- Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
- Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
