Job Description
Loading/Unloading trucks, making skids and performs other dock responsibilities.
Flexibility and adaptability to assume other roles and support other job families as required.
May be required to assist, instruct and provide training to other employees.
Participates in activities to increase job knowledge, including required training and certifications, job rotation programs and training and coaching of other employees.
Participate in Behavioural Based Safety Training and contribute to the program.
Participate in LEAN/Six Sigma Training and contribute to and make recommendations for process improvements and LEAN activities.
Performs work in accordance with job-specific training procedures, follows work aids (DWIs, prints etc.,) and produces work that consistently meets quality standards.
Ensure tasks are conducted in accordance with applicable employment, environmental, health, safety, quality, and legislation and or regulations (federal, provincial, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, etc.), as well as Rockwell Automation values, ethics, policies and procedures, 5S requirements and standards of business conduct.
Creates an optimal work environment by establishing and maintaining positive and respectful work relationships.
All other duties as required and assigned by supervision
Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education
SKILLS:
Valid Lift Truck License preferred (Tow motor – Reach Truck, counterbalance, elf), fall protection training and also being able to operate cranes;
Effective organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Reading and understanding written instructions, i.e., Cambridge Specific Procedures (CSPs) and Documented Work Instructions (DWIs)
Utilizing a computer to view, log, and/or find appropriate job-related information, i.e., SAP, FTPC
Safe use of manual tools, power tools, machinery, devices and material handling equipment.
Demonstrate proficiency of assigned tasks, duties, and responsibilities required to achieve customer satisfaction, including but not limited to SAP, Factory Talk and Kronos.
EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:
Level 3: 2 Years Related Experience, High School Education/GED
PREREQUISITES:
Able to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Material Handler – 2P
Accepts Role Requirements
Must be able to lift 35lbs
Meet the requirement of Safety, Attendance and Code of Conduct policies
Consistently behaves in accordance with Rockwell Automation standards of ethics and integrity.

Visual and Hand Dexterity
Sit and/or Stand for long periods
