Halifax Regional Municipality is inviting applications for the permanent, full-time position of SAP Functional Analyst in the ERP Delivery Management & Operations section of Information Technology. Reporting to the ERP Manager, Delivery Management and Operations, the SAP Functional Analyst will support Business Unit’s use of HRM’s SAP integrated systems for defined business processes designed to support HRM’s operational and strategic goals. The SAP Functional Analyst has extensive knowledge of SAP best practices, business processes, configuration, data models, reporting and system integration. The SAP Functional Analyst will be proficient in SAP’s methodologies and tools, and will be HRM’s technical expert in one or more of the following areas:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
The successful applicant will be required to obtain ITIL Foundation certification within six months of their date of hire.

Technical / Job Specific Knowledge and Abilities:

Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants may be required to complete an employment security screening check.

WORK STATUS: Permanent, full-time

HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm for 35 hours per week; flexibility required.

SALARY: NU08 on the non-union salary scale; $82,640 to $113,640. Salary to be commensurate with experience.

WORK LOCATION: 13th Floor Barrington Tower, Halifax
