Department : Social Development (SD) - Policy and Legislative Affairs
Placement Description : Working alongside the Policy Analysts and Senior Policy Advisors, the Policy Analyst will contribute to various analyses such as jurisdictional scans; opportunities and challenges; and anticipated impacts on different groups of people (e.g., Gender-based Analyses, Children's Rights Impact Assessments, etc.). The student will also draft briefing notes or other supporting documents and conduct other research to support priority projects and legislative reviews undertaken by the Department.
