Jacobs is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to join our project Procurement & Contracts Management team on executing a large industrial project in the Vancouver Lower Mainland.

Your role will include: 
•    Effectively and efficiently managing a portfolio of construction and high value long-lead equipment installation contracts
•    Effectively supervising and mitigating change activity to assure adequate protection of the company and client
•    Fulfilling contract management requirements during project performance
•    Performing contract administrative activities in a timely, accurate and adequate manner
•    Identifying problems and trends, reporting status, and performing corrective action in a timely, accurate and adequate manner
•    Implementing and supporting Contract Management programs and procedures
•    Working with project personnel to plan and support Procurement and Contract Management execution of the project
•    Coordinating and communicating internally with Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, HSE, Finance, and Quality, as well as externally with the Client and subcontractors, during all phases of project execution
•    Negotiating in a timely, accurate and adequate manner
•    Effectively executing company policies and procedures relating to construction contract management
•    Reports to Procurement Manager

Here’s What You’ll Need:

•    Minimum 12-15 years of experience in Contracts Management, specifically construction and long lead, high risk contracts
•    Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills required
•    Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and time management skills required
•    BA or BS, or equal, preferred
•    SCMP, CPP, or other professional procurement designation preferred
