Job description

This is a contract position for a Business Intelligence Specialist for our public sector client.
Work location: Downtown Toronto
Duration: Three Months
7.25 hours/day
This is a Hybrid role that requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days of the week (This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non-negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.)

Responsibilities
- Assist with gathering business and information requirements.
- Provide technical expertise to design and develop Business Intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
- Strong communication and collaboration to work with clients to iteratively develop and deploy Microsoft Power BI solutions to meet client needs.
- Provide technical expertise to solution complex systems of integrated data of varying types, structures, and sources.
- Work with clients to prepare, structure, and transform data to ensure quality and integrity of report visualizations.
- Ensure all aspects of business intelligent solutions incorporate organizationally defined standards for accessibility compliance.

- Provide supporting documentation and knowledge transfer to Client/Ministry/Organization as required.

Qualifications
- Experience developing and implementing business intelligence solutions such as Microsoft Power BI.
- Experience with low code platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform
- Experience with Accessibility Compliance, WCAG
