Position: HR Business Partner
Location: Ottawa East (Hybrid)
Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 annually (based on experience)
Our client is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with various stakeholders, contribute to organizational growth, and drive impactful HR initiatives within a dynamic and thriving work environment. The right person for this position will be autonomous, have a strong health & safety background and experience as the stand-alone lead for HR project management and implementation. This role requires a bilingual (English/French) candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Regional Director of Operations to assess recruitment needs
- Participate in the talent acquisition process, conducting telephone and in-person interviews alongside the recruitment team
- Provide guidance to warehouse managers on personnel management, annual evaluations, and labour relations
- Assist in implementing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies with the OHS Coordinator
- Carry out the treatment and complete the documentation related to work accidents
- Conduct disciplinary meetings and prepare related correspondence
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, or related field
- Strong understanding of labour law and OHS standards
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with a high level of autonomy
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
- Fluency in English and French
- Must be willing to travel to multiple locations within Ontario once a month
