AAA Canada is a manufacturing company that has been providing subcontracting and technical assistance to industrialization, production and maintenance processes for about 15 years! We operate in the Aerospace, Ground Transportation and Energy sectors.
A typical day?- Plan and supervise the activities and management of a team of approximately 25 unionized employees.
- Be responsible for the operational processes of your sector by achieving and controlling production objectives.
- Manage your group's budgets and ensure product quality.
- Plan and monitor daily operations in your area.
- Report and analyze various indicators related to productivity, quality, health and safety, absenteeism, etc.
- Solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain communication with other departments on all matters relating to your area.
- Ensure continuous improvement using the concepts of operational excellence and the problem-solving process.
- Train your employees, evaluate their performance and progress.
- Promote a working environment based on teamwork and open communication.
- Exercise leadership in line with our customer's vision and values.
- Coach your team to develop their talent within the organization.
Qualifications: - You have a degree in operations, production or engineering management or in a related field (aeronautics is an asset).
- You have 3 to 5 years' experience in a supervisory role in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- You have strong planning and organizational skills to ensure results.
- You demonstrate managerial courage in managing people.
- You have the interpersonal skills needed to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, all levels of the management team and other departments.
- You are motivated by a challenging and fast-paced environment.
- You are flexible to work other shifts if necessary (days, evenings or weekends).
- Bilingualism (French-English), both spoken and written, is an important asset for effective communication in the multilingual environment of the customer site and technical documentation.
