Job description

Our client, a large financial institution, is looking for a New Business Associate to fill a 12-month contract located in Waterloo.  Please note this position is currently a hybrid work arrangement requiring 2-3 days in office.

As a New Business Associate I your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Analyzing premium and claims information, group characteristics, benefits, and plan designs

• Pricing new business appropriately to win new group business or retain existing business

• Delivering and communicating clear, accurate, and complete quotes to executives

Qualifications required for New Business Associate I include:

• Knowledge of Group Life and Health concepts, benefits and products

• Experience using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

• Underwriting experience and enrollment in or completion of LOMA, HIAA, or CEBS an asset
