CREDIT MANAGER
Job Location: Greater St. John's Area, NL

Our client , a well-established business in the building supplies industry, requires a Credit Manager. The Credit Manager will oversee the company's credit functions and will report to the owner and the Controller.

Responsibilities will include:

• Review and update the company's credit policy when necessary
• Create a credit scoring model to assess risks
• Evaluate potential customers' creditworthiness
• Approve or reject credit requests from customers
• Maintain detailed records of accounts receivable
• Apply interest charges to accounts
• Monitor customers' adherence to credit policies
• Undertake collection action as required

The preferred candidate should have formal training in credit management and at least five (5) years of progressively responsible relevant work experience in the area of credit management.
