PROJECT COORDINATOR

Information Technology

9-month Term / 2 positions

Victoria, Vancouver Lower Mainland

 

 

The opportunity

As part of the IT project teams, you performs a comprehensive range of project coordination activities in support of IT Major Projects and is responsible for managing and coordinating multiple project tasks simultaneously. You are involved in planning and organizing the major project activities to help to ensure that projects are delivered on-time and on-budget. As well as providing regular reports on project and resource updates.

Reporting to the Director, IT Projects and Manager, PMO, you add value and are energized by key areas of oversight such as:

 

What you bring to the team

You have IT project experience in Information Technology, and you are proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project. You have experience with projects, tracking program and project issues, risks and changes. Experience with project financials would be an asset. You have the demonstrated ability to drive toward results, and ensure high-quality standards and complete requirements are met.

 

You have a post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Business or an IT related discipline. Project Management training or certification would be considered an asset (PMP/CAPM).

Additional information

The target salary range: $55,700 - $69,600 per annum. The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity. Starting salary may exceed the target range on exceptional basis.
