We are currently seeking an Identity Verification Clerk to join our team based in our Halifax, NS office.

Type of Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Close Date : Friday, March 15, 2024

The Opportunity:

An integral member of our Trust and Risk Management teams, the Firm’s Identity Verification Clerks are responsible for conducting client assessments, supporting client obligations management, and maintaining the Firm’s compliance database system.

The Identity Verification Clerk will learn the Firm’s financial processes, including Trust, and understand the required information in order to process various transactions.

The successful candidate will facilitate assessments, including identity verification checks, and aggregate data from multiple sources to provide comprehensive assessments as part of the Firm’s overall Anti-Money Laundering and Fraud mitigation strategy.

If you have extensive experience with data entry and possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communications abilities, we want to hear from you! Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel would be considered an asset. AML/ATF and/or fraud risk training would be ideal, but is not required.
