Instructor(s) - Business Administration Program (Smithers Campus)
Job description and duties
Coast Mountain College (CMTN), Smithers campus, invites applications for a term Instructor(s) in our Business Administration (BADM) program commencing April 29, 2024 and ending August 23, 2024 (subject to minimum enrolment). Salary will be in accordance with the BCGEU Instructor salary scale.
Duties: The instructor(s) will be responsible for contributing to the academic success of students in the BADM program. This includes course preparation, teaching, evaluation of student work and guiding students by providing feedback, correction, encouragement, and direction. All courses will be delivered face-to-face and include:
ECON 150 Microeconomics (45 instructional hours) (Tuesday 5-8 pm)
BFIN 250 Business Finance (45 instructional hours) (Wednesday 1-4 pm)
BCPT 150 Business Computers (45 instructional hours) (Wednesday 9 am-12 pm)

Qualifications
The successful applicant will possess a broad range of content knowledge, confidence and experience with business topics. Experience should demonstrate excellent technology skills, group facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills. A commitment to student success is required, along with a demonstrated ability to foster a motivational learning environment for a diverse student base.
