The Central Canadian District has an immediate opening for a friendly and skilled personnel administrator who can coordinate our licensing and ordination processes as well as provide administrative support for our senior leaders. This role works full-time in our Burlington office 5 days a week.
The Central Canadian District is a part of the denomination of The Alliance Canada (formally the Christian & Missionary Alliance), which provides oversight and support to approximately 60 churches and 170 pastors. Our district covers the north western, south western and central geographical regions of Ontario.
Responsibilities:
- Administer licensing process from first point of contact with candidates through the documentation and interview stages through to the point of issuing credentials
- Track development and apprenticeship plans
- Facilitate applications for Marriage Officiant Licenses
- Administer the Ordination program including the online platform, posting resource materials, tracking participant assignments, and organizing workshops
- Scheduling and coordinating ordination interviews
- Creation of ordination certificates
- Make updates to pastoral personnel information in Sumac and Planning Centre Online
- Filing of pastoral personnel documentation and church filing, both hardcopy and electronic formats
- Support the office of the district superintendent with administrative needs such as calendar management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination
Qualifications:

- Administratively strong with demonstrated organizational and critical thinking skills.
- The ability to prioritize and execute a variety of competing tasks
- The ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to navigate and utilize various software, databases and online platforms such as: Google Workspace, Planning Centre Online, Monday.com, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft and Mac applications.
Compensation:
- $47,000 - $52,000 based on experience
