Job description

We are looking to hire a full-time kennel supervisor immediately. Previous experience in a pet-related area is required.
The Kennel Supervisor position requires someone who is highly organized, has great attention to detail, and possesses wonderful customer service skills and excellent team organizational skills. Some specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Supervising all kennel staff in the implementation of their duties.
Must be able to train the new staff and be a leader of the team.
Must be able to multi-task independently and work well under noise and pressure.
Must be personable and enjoy talking to clients on the phone, in person, and through email.
Give clients/potential clients tours.
Must be proficient in using a computer and doing administrative tasks such as inputting data, and organizing paperwork and files.
Responsible for ensuring that the electronic media plan is implemented consistently (electronic media includes social media and online scheduler).
Provide loving care to all pets including feeding, administering medications, cleaning enclosures, and exercising.
Monitoring pets if they have an illness or a disease and prevent injuries to workers and other pets.
Keep the boarding facility clean. Dispose of trash, recyclable, and animal waste.
Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as daily cleaning, check-out cleaning, laundry, dish washing, etc.
Must be able to work outdoors in different weather.
Help restrain hard-to-control/aggressive pets.
Help with repairs/maintenance of kennel area and equipment.
Take on kennel attendant duties as needed.
Very Flexible Availability. Able to work between 8 am and 6 pm, must be available on Weekends and Holidays.
Must have a reliable vehicle and direct phone contact.
