Job description

This posting will be used to fill 1 permanent full-time position working 75 bi-weekly. It will establish a 12-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions.

This job is based in the thriving and diverse city of Whitehorse in the beautiful Yukon .

Your role
Under the general direction of the Supervisor, Therapeutic Services, this position coordinates, develops and manages the Volunteer Services Program to meet the needs of Continuing Care facilities in Whitehorse.

Conditions of employment
You must meet the following conditions before being hired, or within the time frame noted.
Conditions of Employment: TB Screening, RCMP security clearance, CPR Level C with AED, and WHIMIS 2015

Job requirements
This job requires you to perform, and/or be exposed to, the following:
Possibility of evening and weekend work, exposure to animals in the Pet Therapy Program, exposure to second hand smoke from clients/residents, and exposure to latex products.
