Job description
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Process and maintain records and reports related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain and process credit card statements and office expenses.
- Prepare monthly and year-end accounting statements.
- Monitor and assist in preparing the annual operating and capital budgets.
- Prepares payroll and relative reports, such as monthly timecards and T4 slips.
- Administers employee benefit plans, such as health benefits and pension plans.
- Orders and purchases office supplies.
- Maintains bank deposits and bank records.
- Responsible for maintaining all administrative and personnel records.
- Manage internal service contracts, such as janitorial, snow removal, phones, etc.
- Reception duties, such as answering incoming telephone calls, processing incoming and outgoing mail, and greeting clients.
- Administering asset management.
- Cross training and assisting with other administrative roles as required.
- Any other related duties that may required.
Requirements:
- Business Administration Diploma, with accounting courses, or similar post-secondary education in a related discipline; or completion of high school diploma with equivalent work experience may be considered.
- A minimum of two-years of related work experience in the public or private sector.
- Completion of payroll related courses would be considered an asset.
- Understanding of Sage Accounting or other accounting programs.
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe programs.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to take direction.

Salary Range: $54,505.00 to $70,905.00; based on experience and qualifications.
