The job
Tasks and responsabilities
Operate and govern cloud platforms based on AWS;
Optimize infrastructure costs;
Respond to platform emergencies, alerts, and customer support escalations;
Troubleshoot, assess, and resolve operational issues in accordance with defined Service Level Objectives (SLOs);
Maintain and monitor monitoring and alert systems;
Work in collaboration with architecture and development teams to create robust solutions;
Recommend procedural and architectural improvements;
Administration of Linux and Windows systems (primarily Linux);
Documentation of infrastructure and processes;
Technical support and guidance for colleagues in the organization.
Your profile
Required Qualifications
Specific knowledge and experience of cost structures and cost optimization tools related to AWS (or similar Azure, GCP, etc.);
Experience with container and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Openstack, etc.);
Strong scripting and automation knowledge;
Very good knowledge of Linux operation and Unix shell;
Familiarity with network concepts (NAT, DNS, firewalls, routing, load balancing, etc.);
Strong scripting and automation knowledge;
Fluent in English;
AEC or DEC in computer science.
Required Skills and Abilities
AWS certifications
Experience with at least one programming language;
Mastery of Zoho software (an asset);
Knowledge of CI/CD & DevOps;
Infrastructure as Code knowledge.
