The Role:
The Sr. Manager, Market Access reports to the Senior Director, Market Access, and is responsible for the planning and execution of the Market Access strategy. The role has an emphasis on operational oversight and management of strategic market access projects, both pre-launch and post-launch. You will improve the lives of Canadians by helping to ensure that patient access is achieved and maintained in Canada for therapies across the Gilead portfolio.

How you will ‘Create Possible’:
Lead the development and execution of a project management function to support market-access focused launch excellence and planning across Gilead therapeutic areas
Ensure effective planning and seamless execution of key deliverables, including submissions to Canadian health technology agencies; submissions to provincial and private payers; and pre-launch planning
Coordinate and support cross-functional project teams to manage the creation and execution of key market access strategic initiatives that support commercial organizational objectives, including the planning and execution of public reimbursement strategies, brand planning, and product negotiations
Maintain comprehensive acumen of the latest processes, policies, and trends within the Canadian market access and reimbursement environment to enable successful execution of strategic market access plans
Partner with global colleagues to leverage and adapt organizational tools and frameworks to optimize launch planning and execution for the Canadian market access environment
Engage local and global cross-functional colleagues to identify opportunities to increase efficiency in project management
Manage program budgets and invoices
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in science, economics, public health, business, or related field of study.
Demonstrated experience and competency in project management and related business analytics, including using project management software
Detailed-oriented with strong analytical capabilities and exceptional organization skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in cross-functional teams
Ability to perform budget and financial forecasting and analysis, including experience with spreadsheets
Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment, and comfortable with uncertainty
Excellent communication skills (written, oral, presentation)
6+ years’ experience working within the biopharma/pharmaceutical industry, directly or indirectly
Demonstrated experience in preparing submissions to health technology agencies would be an asset
Experience and knowledge in oncology and/or hematology would be an asset
A formal PMP designation would be an asset
Bilingual (English and French) would be an asset
