Here's what you'll do in the role:
As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the manufacturing processes through the implementation of Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Your expertise will drive efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity, ensuring our operations are as streamlined and effective as possible.
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen events to promote continuous improvement within the organization.
- Implement Lean Six Sigma principles to optimize manufacturing processes and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvements and cost reduction.
- Develop and monitor performance metrics to track the effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide training and mentorship to staff on continuous improvement techniques and methodologies.
Here's what we're looking for:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Continuous Improvement role in manufacturing
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- PMP, P. Eng or EIT is an asset
- 5 or more years' experience with of Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to analyze data and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively drive change across the organization
- Strong computer skills: MS Office including Project, AutoCAD, Solidworks, SAP
