Position Summary

We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Speech Language Pathology department.

In accordance with established vision and values of the organization and in accordance with professional standards and code of ethics as outlined by the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of B.C., the Speech-Language Pathologist provides evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders to adult acute care inpatient/outpatient patients. The Speech-Language Pathologist may work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with them for the purpose of creating environments that promote optimal communication/swallowing. The Speech-Language Pathologist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the department/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, and education

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days, 08:00 to 16:00

GR Baker Memorial Hospital is a full care hospital with 27 Acute Care beds, 4 ICU beds and 5 crisis stabilization beds
