Your new company
Our client is a leading manufacturer in the food industry. They have a job opening for a 2 nd class power engineer. Candidates must have a 2 nd power license. This is a hands-on maintenance role. The role is based Strathroy – London – Woodstock . This is a 12-hour rotating shift , eligible for OT. checks will be conducted at the end of the process.
Your new role
2nd Class Power Engineer is responsible for the facility equipment. You will ensure that the plant is operational under the regulatory requirements laid out by TSSA. You will conduct plant inspections for ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and compressed air, water and ventilation systems, ensure all logbooks and records are maintained. You will proactively run continuous improvement programs for energy saving and undertake all capital projects. You will ensure health and safety and ensure all facility equipment efficiency KPIs are being met. Power engineers will remain the point of contact for all government liaison related to ammonia refrigeration, boilers, compressed air etc. You will analyze equipment history to conduct gap analysis and implement projects to improve efficiencies.
What you'll need to succeed
2nd Class Power Engineer must have a valid TSSA 2 nd class license with good communication skills. Ammonia experience is preferred.
