What you will be doing:

• Calculation of ICMS, PIS, and COFINS taxes in compliance with the legislation of each state, including relevant checks for the submission of accessory obligations;
• Preparation and submission of monthly accessory obligations for each state (Sped Fiscal, GIA ST, DAPI, SPED Contributions);
• Calculation and monitoring of ICMS tax incentives in accordance with the legislation of each state;
• Assessment of ISS tax in compliance with the legislation of each municipality and submission of reports and accessory obligations, if applicable;
• Parametrization of Operation Types and issuance of invoices;
• Evaluation of supplier registration;
• Support and assistance to internal areas of the company: purchasing, facilities, HR, physical store, logistics, etc.
• Support to the team in daily/routine fiscal activities;
• Reconciliation of accounting accounts with fiscal reports;
• Assistance and support for audits;
• Stay updated on fiscal legislation.

What you´ll need to succeed in this role:

 

• Having extensive experience in monthly closing deliveries and reconciliations;
• Excel (advanced level) + ERP (knowledge in Sanhkya ERP is a differential);
• Experience in handling audits/compliance.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines;
• Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts diplomatically;
• Analytical, committed, collaborative, ownership mindset, dynamic, and works well in a team.
• Completed higher education in Accounting, Administration, Economics, or related fields.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in indirect tax area.
• Intermediate English.
