All about the role:

What you'll do:

As a Buyer for OEM and ODM products, you will take ownership of supply base performance and lead negotiations with current and new suppliers to secure a competitive, sustainable and consumer oriented business. If you have great communication and negotiation skills, are detail-oriented and analytical, and can adapt quickly and decisively to changes in your environment, you are just the kind of person we are looking for Help Electrolux keep delivering outstanding experiences, and we'll help you open the path to your success.

In detail, you will:

Manage relationship with suppliers in order to drive improvement in their performance in relation to KPIs such as sales, competitiveness, delivery performance, quality level;

- Elaborate and implement a sustainable sourcing strategy, mapping the manufacturing footprint of the region to identify potential sourcing opportunities;

- Develop a business-related intelligence database;

- Lead negotiations with suppliers (e.g. pricing, payment terms, quality chargebacks etc.), acting as a facilitator for resolutions and securing contractual coverage.

- Track product cost breakdown and should-cost models, keeping track of cost evolution and supporting different teams on various cost reduction activities;

- Join and actively participate on cross-functional teams, representing Product Sourcing among stakeholders;

- Provide critical feedback to management on opportunities for cost reduction and/or to improve internal processes;

- Promote best practices and good governance in the area.

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).

Who you are:

You have:

Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business Management, Economics, Accounting, Foreign Trade or Engineering);

- Experience with international purchasing from suppliers in China;

- Experience with the elaboration of international commercial contracts;

- Knowledge of cost analysis, commodity analysis and Incoterms;

- Knowledge of tax/fiscal legislation and financial mathematics and markets;

- Knowledge of industrial processes and project management methodologies;

- Advanced Office skills;

- Advanced English (Spanish is a plus).

You will be based at the Guabirotuba plant

in Curitiba. One of the focal points for all Latin American Electrolux

operations, this plant is the base for over 3000 collaborators, all focused on

transforming the way the world lives by shaping lives for the better with their

work.
