Job description
I'm again working with MAGE GLOBAL's Series C MDR Provider based out of Maryland. Founded by for NSA Operatives, they've been able to bring their learnings to the commercial world. They've been in hyper-growth for the past year or so and are now seeking to add to their Product Engineering team headed up by their VP of Product Engineering. I need a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, someone who likes working remote & doesn't mind a fast-paced environment. If you pride yourself on working across front-end & back-end components, with an eye on robustness & scalability... then I want to talk to you!
Who You Are: Own responsibility on delivering business-critical outcomes through your contributions. This includes contributions to their world-class cybersecurity platform & adding to the user experience that already exists there! Lead and drive projects that span their stack, including Node.js services hosted in Kubernetes and a UI written in Typescript and React. TypeScript is very important here! Leverage your deep understanding of design & architecture, your experience across design patterns best practice is valued here, as well as your experience in optimisation for scalability & resiliency Excel as a team player! Work cross-functionally, be a mentor! Understand the importance of intentional communication, working closely with the leadership team to define solutions to high-level engineering objectives while providing clear and concise updates. What You’ll Bring: Demonstrated Senior industry experience in full-stack development. Strong system design fundamentals and experience building scalable systems. Knowledge and use of common data structures and algorithms to solve problems. Expertise in a range of the modern programming languages, particularly in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js. Automated testing frameworks experience (Jest, Cypress, Playwright) A potent desire to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment with multiple releases a day Exposure to AWS and DevOps is a big plus Do get in touch & apply!
