Video Editor & Motion Graphic Designer
We are on the lookout for a talented Video Editor and Motion Graphic Designer to join our creative team. Reporting to our Head of Video Production you will be responsible for creating video animation , text animation as well as assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the creative direction of our Marketing Content Team. Part of a team of visionary minds you will also assist in the execution of diverse arrays of live streaming (youtube, Twitch etc...) and edit content we produce for all our channels, including our app, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and partner channels.
Responsibilities & Duties
Help the Head of Video Production in all filming aspects, camera and audio setups.
Plan, set-up, and edit video assets for the Marketing Content Team;
Collaborate with the Head of Content & Creative to conceptualize & streamline content creation.
Design and deliver compelling animations and videos for the different digital platforms that are appealing for our app and social media audiences.
Input music, dialogues, subtitles, graphics and effects.
Ingesting and organizing footage after shoots.
Make artistic and technical decisions based on creative vision for lighting, camera coverage, shooting style, and location.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
Work effectively within tight deadlines to deliver assets on time and adhere to best practices. Occasional work on nights and weekends for event coverage.
Requirements
2+ years experience with shooting & editing in a fast-paced, deadline driven media house
Proven experience in motion design and video editing programs (Premiere, After Effect and Photoshop) as well as working knowledge of Adobe CS.
Must be familiar with the different web video formats and understands that resizing won’t always do the trick.
Detailed-oriented and takes pride in designing content that engages with the audience.
Knowledge of modern camera and audio rigging practices.
Knowledge of 3D animation software Like Blender, C4d or Element 3D would be considered an asset.
Comfortable working on MacOS environment.
Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
