Job description
We are a recruitment company based in Colombo Sri Lanka and we are currently looking for a Assistant Manager Tax and Treasury for one of the reputed companies in Sri Lanka.
Job Role
- Oversee and ensure compliance with all local state and federal tax regulations including the preparation and filing of tax returns and reports.

Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities and enhance financial performance.

Manage daily treasury operations including cash flow management liquidity planning and the execution of financial transactions to ensure the company's financial stability.

Prepare and analyze tax and treasury reports providing insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decisionmaking.

Coordinate with external auditors during tax audits and develop and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks related to tax and treasury activities.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance Economics or a related field; a professional certification such as ACCA CIMACMA or similar is preferred.
- Minimum of 35 years of relevant experience in tax compliance tax planning and treasury operations preferably within a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of tax laws regulations and accounting principles as well as proficiency in financial analysis and treasury management tools.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills to address complex tax and treasury issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams manage external auditors and provide clear financial insights to senior management.
