Job description
Quatre Recursos Humanos is looking for an experienced Sales person for a new position for the Dairy industry in Minas Gerais State.
Our client is Danish owned company over 50 years experience in serving the Food Industry worldwide with quality analytical instrumentation.Operations in Brazil supplies dedicated analytical solutions for quality and production control for the Dairy Industry. There are regionally based sales, applications, and customer support personnel throughout Brazil. Their talented team is ready to help improve the efficiency, control, and profitability of their clients’ operations.
Responsibility
The Technical Sales (ISM) is responsible for the overall sales performance of selling Dairy products and solutions in an assigned territory, and to specific customers in Brazil. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the ISM will be working closely together with other Industry Sales Managers, Market Segment Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and other persons within the company Complete the required number of sales calls of minimum 8 per week.
Maintain accurate records with respect to prospects, pre-implementation planning/proposal preparation, sales calls, quotations, pricing, etc., using CRM system.
The ISM will work out of their home. Travel required in the range of 75%.
Primary tasks
Main tasks: Sell the company’s products and services using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation.
Complete the required number of sales calls of minimum 8 per week.
Provide input and participate in the marketing, market planning and technical development of products and services for the dairy industries.
Create sales strategies for each account including Key Accounts and national Accounts.
Train and share knowledge with fellow colleagues in Dairy areas.
Give professional presentations to many different types of people and organizational level
Create and manage territory plan including measurable goals, dollars by product line, and timetable for actions.
Maintain accurate records with respect to prospects, pre-implementation planning/proposal preparation, sales calls, quotations, pricing, etc., using CRM system.
Qualifications and skills
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Food Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Dairy technician or other related Dairy field. A minimum of 7 years experience in a sales role in business-to-business sales to the industry is required.The candidate has a strong track record of meeting/exceeding sales revenue projections in capital equipment sales. Experience in cross-selling and Value Based Selling (benefits and profit enhancement proposition) rather than selling price alone.
Experience in driving revenue in technical products/instruments is strongly preferred.
English speaker and writer (Fluent)
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite applications such as PowerPoint and Excel is required for writing proposals and presentations.
