EDP Production is recruiting an Operation & Maintenance Specialist for Tejo Mondego Direction/ Alqueva Unit - that will be responsible to plan, coordinate, execute, and monitor the implementation of EDPP's.
Job Description:
- Lead and develop Alqueva’s Unit team, with expertise in electrical and mechanical areas.
- Manage the operations of the power plants, ensuring equipment availability in strict compliance with safety, health, environmental, and industrial risk procedures.
- Define and ensure monitoring of facility performance variables to anticipate potential issues and efficiency gains.
- Responsible for reliability and performance indicators of the installations.
- Coordinate and/or execute diagnostic processes to identify the root cause of technical problems.
- Ensure interface with the Hydropower Optimization Management team and external specialized suppliers.
- Define, schedule, coordinate, and manage the execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance actions.
- Define the investment needs, maintenance services, and spare parts for the multi-year budget and scheduled maintenance plan.
- Be accountable for OPEX and CAPEX budget.
- Coordinate the activities of external suppliers - including contracts and service providers - with those of EDPP teams.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Professional experience between 3 to 8 years, including functional team coordination and compliance with safety, health, environment, and quality policies.
- Experience in planning and managing project execution or maintenance activities.
- Proficiency in the English language.
