Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on aluminum components according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Operate welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Conduct visual inspections of welded parts to ensure conformance to quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints work orders and production schedules
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and workflow
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of welding equipment and work area
- Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding processes
- Adhere to quality control measures and standards
- Document production and quality records accurately
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an aluminum MIG welder
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Strong knowledge of aluminum properties and welding techniques
- Ability to use various welding tools and equipment
- Detailoriented with a focus on precision and accuracy
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in welding
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent handeye coordination and dexterity
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Physical strength and stamina to perform welding tasks
- Understanding of quality control processes and standards
- Welding certification or relevant vocational training is a plus
