About our company
Innovamat is an educational tool that promotes a competency-based, personalized, and practical way of learning mathematics. It is aimed at children between the ages of 3 and 16 and prioritizes the understanding of content and the development of mathematical skills linked to problem solving. Innovamat encourages learning through experimentation, conversation, and individualized practice. In this sense, Innovamat offers sequenced learning trajectories, resources, training, and contact with the educational community; experts in mathematics education, and the science behind mathematical learning.
Innovamat was founded in 2017 in Barcelona (Spain) and works with 18,000 teachers from more than 2,100 schools in Spain, Italy, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Brazil, Peru, and the US, who teach competency-based and meaningful mathematics to more than 430,000 students.
Your mission
You will be responsible for helping the project scale in the Brazilian market. We need you to be co-responsible for one of our most strategic projects: growing internationally with a talented team.
Your entrepreneurial mission requires you to understand the Brazilian educational system, build relationships with key players, and sell to schools.
Your day to day at Innovamat
Manage relationships with all Stakeholders throughout the Sales process.
Negotiate and close deals, all the way through to procurement.
Help analyze and define the main KPIs of the company in the Brazilian Market.
Support our Country Manager in developing a business strategy to scale up in the Brazilian Market.
Gain a thorough understanding of the Brazilian school system and its regional differences to develop the target go-to-market strategy.
Identify relevant actors of the ecosystem (people, entities, etc.)
Create meaningful relationships with schools’ headmasters and networks of schools.
Manage the sales process: from the first meeting to the closing.
Present the project, do product demonstrations, manage schools’ expectations, handle negotiations...
Represent Innovamat at all didactic-related events in Brazil and potentially abroad.
Make schools fall in love with Innovamat.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (Engineering, Business or Science);
Proven academic track record, strong business acumen, problem solver, and data-driven with an analytical approach, proactive, good vibes & techie;
An ability to take any problem, deep-dive, reveal route cause, draft improvement solutions, and communicate to stakeholders;
Hands-on attitude/autonomous, you can think and work on your own and make things happen;
Amazing attention to detail, a great appetite to learn, and are driven to get your hands dirty;
Obsessed with continuous improvements, delivering value, and allergic to manual tasks;
A true team player with good interpersonal relations, drive, and resilience;
G Suite expert (Sheets, Presentations), Office Suite expert (Excel).
English speaker.
It will be great if…
You have previous experience in the education sector.
You speak Spanish fluently.
