A equipe de Engenharia de Software projeta, desenvolve ou coordena o desenvolvimento/solução de problemas ou depuração de programas de software moderadamente complexos para aprimoramentos e novos produtos. Faz o design/modelagem de alto nível para converter as necessidades das partes interessadas em soluções de software. Desenvolve software e ferramentas de suporte a plataformas de design, infraestrutura e tecnologia. Determina a compatibilidade do hardware e/ou influencia o design do hardware. Desenvolve as diretrizes arquitetônicas, especificações e padrões técnicos e se comunica com as partes interessadas.
Work in a collaborative environment to develop the next generation of appliances. Develop global embedded Software solutions and IoT solutions. Develop Software in working with a variety of microprocessors, SDKs, open source libraries and operating systems (RTOS).
Daily activities in software life cycle, translate requirements into software functional specifications to product level testing, including software design, implementation and unit testing.
Software / firmware development mostly in C over a RTOS framework;
Actively join Design Reviews, conduct peer reviews, and provide meaningful feedback for other team members;
Create, document and execute Unit Tests. Create, document and execute White and Black Box software tests;
Document Software Design and implementation into standard software documentation formats;
Release software for validation and production;
Contribute on the development process from the technical design and architecture to the implementation and maintenance;
Eventual international travels.
B.S. Electrical/ Electronics Engineer, Computer Engineer, Mechatronics or correlated area;
Proficiency in the C language;
Ability to read datasheets, software & hardware reference documents, create setups and debug hardware related issues without supervision;
Fluent English;
solid experience with professional software engineering practices over all aspects of software development life-cycle including writing requirements specifications, developing design guidelines and coding standards, performing code reviews, source code control, build systems, testing, release engineering and field support.
Experience with a variety of coding languages and paradigms, including C++, Java, JavaScript Python, UML / SysML and modeling languages;
Comfortable with Object Oriented programing;
Understanding or exposure to IOT, WiFi, BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy);
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git;
Familiarity with continuous integration and test;
Ability to work cross functionally and globally;
Knowledgeable of theory and use of Test Driven Development (TDD);
Experience with User Interface Design patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM);
Critical analysis / thought to solve problems;
Capable of working independently with cross functional teams and to provide updates to the leadership through effective communication. Should be able to negotiate and influence technical and non-technical audiences;
A passion for applying latest technologies into the development of innovative features and products;
A collaborative attitude and strong desire to succeed as part of the team;
Self-motivated and a strong passion for learning.
