St. Nicholas School
is seeking to appoint a Personalised Learning (PL) teacher to support our students with additional learning needs across our all-age campus. Main responsibilities within the role: Support identified students in small group or 1:1 contexts depending on the students’ needs; Advise and provide support and information to the pedagogical teams, the leadership team, and parents; Lead on the planning, creation, delivery, and review of individual education plans for identified students across all sections of the school. Required skills and attributes - Desirable (D) and Essential (E) Fluent English and Portuguese (verbal and written) (E); Graduate in education (E); Experience in special educational needs (E); Experience in social-emotional aspects of learning (E); Specialism in educational psychology, such as Psychopedagogy (D); Experience in collaborating with teachers responsible for language acquisition programmes, such as English/Portuguese as an Additional Language (D); Experiencing of working in a multidisciplinary team where the student is at the centre (D).
