SUMMARY
- Responsible for the following markets: Argentina Region (Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia and Paraguay), Chile, Peru and Ecuador
- The Market Supply Chain Leader will be responsible for the Supply, Demand and Logistics activities in the markets under his/her responsibility and single-point of contact for the Commercial on Market SCL information.
- Will implement strategies and plans to improve key drivers of success, monitor cluster performance objective and operational changes, to ensure optimal understanding and support, in alignment with Global policies/guidelines generated by the Global SCL Teams.
- Will be responsible of the Market Consensus Forecast generation and Market S&OP execution as a baseline for International S&OP process.
- Will be also responsible of the Market Logistics Operations, ensuring full alignment of both areas to enable the achieve of SCL and Commercial targets by a continuous improvement policy.
- The Market Supply Chain Leader will manage and develop the capabilities and talent of his/her organization of Cluster Demand Managers/Planers and Logistics Managers/Coordinators.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Demand Management
- Work with Global Demand Management to leverage demand planning tools and to apply statistical forecast where make sense
- Ensure demand team facilitate demand review meetings at the Market level and provide the data and inputs for the global demand review meeting as part of the global S&OP process.
- Ensure demand team incorporate the appropriate Marketing/promotional information and co-ordinate stakeholder involvement in the Demand Planning Process to improve demand plan accuracy
- Establish accountability for the demand plan with sales and marketing and ensure plans are documented and signed off on a monthly basis by the head of the local sales and marketing organizations.
- Ensure all markets produce and update monthly demand planning of a rolling 24-36 month demand forecast (both volume and $) and adherence to deadlines
- Support market level inventory management by collaborating on the SCA parameters definition
- Accountable for data accuracy and integrity on APO DP.
Logistics Management
- Implement the market Logistics strategy including, but not limited to: Transportation & Warehousing Management, Imports, Information Management, and Compliance
- Develop and Monitor budgets for the Cluster seeking continual process and cost improvement.
- Responsible for organizing, directing and compliant management of all finished goods import logistics and relabeling related activities in the region in accordance with Zoetis policies and legal requirements.
- Plan and manage deployment between Hub and Satellite warehouses within the Cluster to ensure inventory availability in line with demand plans.
- Ensure a compliant, cost effective, fast and flexible customs and importation process.
- Ensure consistent compliance with required regulations, policies and procedures, and Zoetis standards including e.g.: FCPA, SOX, Operations (EH&S, dangerous goods, facilities and conveyance security, Business continuity), Zoetis Operating Model, Customs and International Trade requirements.
- Implement and maintain controls to ensure GDP compliance including cold chain monitoring.
- Perform cluster network analysis, identifying and implementing required logistics/supply solutions to support business strategies.
- Follow up on the LSP’s operational performance and compliance against agreed service levels and identify opportunities to drive synergies in the market.
- Work with Marketing and Sales to establish product, channel, and customer priorities to optimize the balance between Customer Service level, Profitability, and Supply Chain efficiency.
- Work collaboration with Global Logistics Teams to support initiatives on distribution strategy, global procedures, cold chain, trade compliance.
- Work collaboration with Intercompany teams making sure our products arrive on time and in the transportation mode required.
- KPI & Communication
- Develop demand planning capability and drive process improvements and performance against demand planning KPI’s monitor, report and improve Demand Plan accuracy vs. target to maintain high Customer Service levels while minimizing non-value-added cost (safety stock levels, premium freight, excess capacity).
- Review annual targets with local markets and ensure necessary actions are in place to ensure adherence to targets.
- Set continuous improvement targets and action plans to improve performance.
- Build credibility of the demand management organization in local markets.
- Support Commercial, intercompany supply teams, internal operation teams and LSPs to drive continuous improvement of Demand & Logistic Operations in the region and Zoetis´s customer satisfaction.
- Establish appropriate professional partnerships and communication processes with Local Commercial teams and provide Logistics updates in local S&OP as required.
- Ensure to continuously improving delivery chain and team(s) performance, service levels and achievement of SCL objectives in line with approved budget and targets.
- Where agreed, participate in regional leadership teams, bringing logistics expertise to the teams and to the key initiatives in the cluster.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
- Graduation in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply and Logistics with MBA are desirable.
- Fluent Spanish and English. Fluency in Portuguese is desirable.
- Solid experience in supply Chain and Logistics roles with proven experience managing LSPs
- People Leader with Customer focus, Strategic thinking, Continuous improvement mindset and results driven oriented.
- Maintain relationship with all organizational entities in Supply Chain and Logistics, External Supply, Commercial Areas, Finance, Regulatory and Quality
- Strong communication skills (oral + written)
- S&OP and demand planning process knowledge and experience.
- Experience with forecasting software
- Ability to utilize technology to improve efficiency and performance.
- Ability to Travel
