Software Developer (Front-End) The Front End Software Developer will work to create responsive, scalable, robust, innovative, highly interactive and engaging web applications. You will work closely with a team of UX designers, front-end and back-end developers and product owners who will value your expertise in software engineering and deep understanding of the latest web technologies and frameworks. You are comfortable collaborating, but equally capable of working independently. You will be working on an existing React PWA (Progressive Web App) SPA (Single Page Application), calling NodeJS and Java-based API backend RESTful Webservices. The ideal candidate is a passionate front-end web developer with a thirst for learning, keeping up with the latest industry trends, an eye for user-centered design, and two or more years of experience building web applications. Responsibilities Design, implement, and own responsive, scalable, performant, and robust web applications that will run across browsers from mobile (iOS and Android) to desktop; Converting UI/UX design specifications into functional web interactions; Support production software operations, test and debug programs; Report progress and status of assigned tasks to project teams and managers; Preferred Qualifications Experience with JavaScript and the programming paradigms it supports; Experience with TypeScript and the associated concepts, such as types, interfaces, and abstract classes; Experience with ReactJS; Experience with HTML5 and CSS3 (Flexbox and CSS Grids); Experience with Storybook; Experience with Webpack; Experience with React Testing Library and/or Test Driven Development (TDD); Experience with Git version control.
