Job Description
- We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Latin America team located in São Paulo.
- The role is pivotal in spearheading marketing promotions and operational strategies to cultivate new business development opportunities and manage regional operations for the Galaxy Store. The ideal candidate is expected to navigate complex mobile initiatives that span across various organizational departments. This necessitates a blend of innovative thinking for growth and strategic planning, alongside a strong operational focus to manage projects effectively. The manager will need to excel in deadline management, risk assessment, and cross-functional communication, advocating for improvements that enhance the platform's developer experience and user engagement based on comprehensive feedback and analyses.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Oversee the operations of the Galaxy Store, ensuring smooth and efficient platform functionality.
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies, promotional campaigns, and content curation tailored to the regional needs. This includes a strategic focus on apps, games, and device integrations.
- Work closely with various teams, including partnerships, legal, product development, and customer service, to align marketing and operational efforts with broader business objectives.
- Utilize both internal and external marketing tools to launch and manage campaigns, requiring a hands-on approach to project management and execution.
- Evaluate the financial and operational aspects of marketing and operational activities to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Maintain open lines of communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing necessary data and insights to optimize revenue generation strategies.
- Oversee key performance indicators (KPIs), revenue tracking, and invoice management in collaboration with the Head Office Finance teams, ensuring financial accountability and transparency.
- Engage in strategic partnership development and content curation in collaboration with Business Development (BD) teams, aiming to expand the Galaxy Store's reach and influence.
- Work alongside local subsidiaries’ marketing teams to coordinate events and promotions, ensuring regional alignment with global objectives.
Background & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent in experience preferred
- Solid experience in business development, content & service operation and product management
- Experience in mobile game or content and service marketing and promotions
- Equipped with advanced analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative as related to business metrics
- Experience operating with and leading cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues collaboratively
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, solve complex problems, and navigate large, global organizations
- Deep understanding about the mobile ecosystem with a fluency in business models and knowledge of the competitive landscape
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision
