ZPE Systems is looking for a Lead Software Engineer for ZPE Cloud to lead the project comprising multicultural distributed team s around the globe . W e expect this individual to be a creative, organized, and self-starter professional with strong Cloud developmen t, deployment , and debugging skills. This position's responsibilities include planning project tasks and deliverables, supervising the execution, and providing guidance to the participating team s .

Responsibilities:

• Leads development and integration of complex software components into a fully functional software system .

• Develops and maintains cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
• Lead a local team, providing project guidance and mentoring.
• Tracks and evaluates cloud team performance to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards.
• E nable and empower engineering teams to deliver their services in the cloud reliably, securely, and in the most cost-efficient way .
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is flexible to work with distributed global teams and willing to support clients globally.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Relevant experience in planning, designing, developing, and delivering Cloud software.
• Expertise with public cloud providers including GCP, and AWS.

• Hands-on experience with the design and development of horizontally scalable web services and systems.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to quickly learn new and existing technologies.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken; excellent communication skills.
• Experience developing with languages like Python, Go , and JavaScript .

• E xperience in Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Django, and React.

This position is open for full-time, in-person work at ZPE’s office in Blumenau-SC , Brazil .
