A multinational company is looking for a Financial Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the Financial division, including Accounting, Taxes, FP&A, Treasury, General Administration, Billing, and Credit Analysis. They'll be responsible for facilitating and implementing improvements across all areas of responsibility to ensure the company's sustainable growth.
Main responsibilities
Accounting:
- Ensure the entire accounting process and oversee vendors.
- Generate management reports.
- Verify daily operations, especially related to Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable journal entries.
- Manage expenses with appropriate payment processes, monitoring the budget.
- Monthly/Quarterly/Annual closure of financial statements.
- Prepare financial reports based on Brazilian GAAP with the CFO.
Tax:
- Ensure proper tax treatment of Company activities, collaborating with the CFO, BPO provider, and tax consultancy firm.
- Prepare tax declarations based on Brazilian tax law with a tax consultancy firm.
- Stay updated on current tax regulations and assess their impact on Company business with the CFO.
FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis):
- Develop management reports for Company management, such as monthly BS/PL, defined and continuously updated KPI reports for management.
- Prepare reports for shareholders based on each shareholder's requirements.
- Analyze financial numbers/KPIs and promote the PDCA cycle.
- Support CFO and management in developing the Company's business plan.
Treasury – Cash Management & Bank Relations:
- Manage the Company's cash flow and take actions to avoid cash shortages.
- Maintain relationships with banks with the CFO to ensure competitive financing.
- Ensure proper payments to relevant authorities.
General Administration:
- As a CFO supporter, responsible for managing all general administration-related activities (equipment purchases, office leasing, etc.) of the Company.
Credit Analysis:
- The Company outsources credit analysis for potential customers; act as a communication liaison with third party and support the CFO in ensuring a smooth process.
- (In the future) Verify third party's credit analysis report and report to the CFO and Company management.
Team Management:
- Manage subordinates to ensure smooth operations.
- Undertake other assignments delegated by the CFO.
Requirements and skills
- Complete bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, taxation, or FP&A in the automotive or financial and banking sector.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience in corporate planning and management.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
