What You Will Do
The Financial and Operations Senior Auditor reports into and collaborates with the Americas Senior Audit Manager, as well as peers across Global Audit & Assurance (GAA) in the execution of the audit plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute audits to assure compliance with established policies and procedures, including an evaluation of internal accounting, financial and operational controls.
- Establish audit programs and test plans for assigned engagements.
- Conduct audits via interviews, reviews of company policies, testing and detailed examination of records.
- Lead formal interim and final meetings with stakeholders to discuss and finalize findings and recommendations.
- Prepare detailed work papers, summarize findings and review findings with the audit manager.
- Assist the manager in preparing the audit report.
- Support the business in evaluating and recommending improvements to practices, processes and control procedures.
- Support audit team and internal customers throughout the audit to ensure any potential concerns are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
- Lead or participate in project teams established to achieve department goals and objectives aimed at improving audit operations and customer service.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of professional working experience in Accounting, Finance and/or Auditing.
- English language proficiency.
- Able to multi-task and work well in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent analytical, technical skills (e.g., Accounting, Excel),
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong team player
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g. CPA, CIA, CFE).
- Additional language skills – Portuguese or Spanish
- Big 4 experience.
- Experience in consumer healthcare and/or consumer packaged goods industry
- Willingness to travel, domestically or internationally, up to 25%
